Oooh, that person knows a trick that I don’t know for just making it as an individual icon instead of a whole icon bar.
I may have to go back and try to learn that eventually…or I may just keep doing what I’m doing since it works for me.
But I’ve made a bar that combines their Merlin with the Owl that I put together.
Merlin may be a little smaller than their version — their image size is larger than what fits in my template.

Again, for the sake of everyone else, I want to be upfront that I did not make the Merlin icon. I borrowed it from brolinskeep so I could combine it with the owl (I hope they don’t mind). The link on top of this post leads to the original.
I’ll have to look through their stuff more later when I’ve got more time — I may be able to learn a thing or two from them! They’ve definitely learned more about altering dashboards than I have!

All five icons are pulled from a single image file. So in order to have the Owl Post icon combined with a different home icon, they have to both be in the same image.
What do you want for the home icon (if it’s not one of mine, send me a link to it)? I should be able to combine them into the same image.

Most definitely! I already had a Deathly Hallows icon, but the owl took a little bit of work — I had trouble finding an image that worked well when resized to the 35x36 pixels that I have to work with.
I finally found one that would work if I shopped the envelope to be much larger than the original version so that it became more visible, and I ended up with this:

Absolutely! I went ahead and left it in full color — I experimented with making it white like the regular icons, but it just didn’t look right.
